SBIR STTR 2023 Year in Review

In 2023, the U.S. Army Small Businesses Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Programs accomplished several strategic initiatives supporting small businesses and equipping its most essential customer — the U.S. Soldier. Led by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology, the programs helped strengthen the nation’s economic landscape and drove innovation across federal agencies by facilitating meaningful connections between nontraditional businesses, the Army and other government entities.

In celebration of these achievements, the Army invites you to read the 2023 Army SBIR|STTR Year in Review. The report details critical programmatic milestones, including the launch and execution of the Army SBIR CATALYST Program and xTechPrime; kicking off the Army Tech Marketplace; and joining forces with colleagues to lead Project VISTA and the Army IP Cadre — all aimed at incentivizing collaboration between the federal government and industry.

The Year in Review provides insight into the program’s evolving capabilities, its efforts to drive collaboration and the exciting steps taken to transform concepts into equipment in the hands of Soldiers.

The program appreciates your contribution to driving innovation. We hope you enjoy reading about our successes in 2023, and we look forward to achieving greater milestones in 2024.
